-The fear of a new beginning-

"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little                                                                                    temporary safety, deserve  neither liberty nor safety"                                                                                                                              ~Benjamin Franklin~

Here I am, an average American father with a wife and three kids. A three year old daughter named Isabel, and two boys.  Tod was seven and Jake was thirteen.  I have a beautiful wife named Anna. Whose hair shines blonde with her gorgeous blue eyes or should I say, did. But I'll get to that later in this journal.  Tod and Isabel looked a lot like their mother.  As for Jake, well, he looked a lot like me. Dark hair, brown eyes and was tall for his age.  Jake always loved to be outdoors.  As for Tod, he loved being inside the house all the time. His eyes were always glued to video games.

My name is John Welding, telling you this story from the beginning to end.  If I live long enough to finish it.  Right now I'm sitting here in an old farm house bleeding profusely, and came across this old digital recorder I found in a desk drawer. Obviously it belonged to the owner of this farm house.  I mean why not, I have nothing else better to do, considering I can't move much. Who knows, maybe we'll win this war and whomever finds this recording can document my side of the story.

Well, anyway, enough ranting.  I’d better be getting started.  (Deep breath) It all started in  late 2019, that's when everyone became eerie of the new direction the government was taking.  I knew something big was about to happen.  Especially when Homeland Security issued America being under a 'code red' alert from Iran and Pakistan, because that's when everything started to get worse.

Gas prices suddenly sky rocketed; reaching above eight dollars a gallon, unemployment became the highest ever recorded.  America has once again fallen into a great depression, as stocks fell to their lowest.  Most factory's were sold out to foreign countries leaving a majority of  the American people without jobs and became homeless.  Surveillance (Big Brother) had gotten worse, TSA at airports were spreading out to schools and malls; even at the local grocery stores.  Each day camera's were adding   on to each city street corner.  The government had also taken full control of the health care system.  Since then, the elderly began dying off slowly. The same went for cancer and heart patients; due to the process of being on a long waiting list.   More laws were being passed without the American people being aware of it.  Taking our liberties little by little,  some American dream huh? All thanks to a group of powerful dictators,  that were nothing more than a bunch of filthy rich government mobsters from around the globe.  Their agenda was to form a world government union in order  to wipe civilization off the map like a game of 'Risk'.   Central world bank would place there bets and then the dice would roll off the Dictatorial world government's finger tips.  Not only was is it just a game to them, it was to slave humanity for there own selfish desires.

It caught the attention of many civilians that our president’s were  handpicked. Most people became aware of it during the  election when the voting machines supposedly shutdown. Which caused major riots throughout the country.
It was only a matter of time until the  government was ready to make their final move.  That’s when it happened, it was the final stalemate.

During this time, America was at war with, Saudi Arabia and Iran.  Back in June they passed the draft bill  again and it became active in January 2019. Our government was telling  'the people' that it is every Americans responsibility to keep our country safe from terrorists. That word terrorist seemed to be more of a control mechanism for the human brain than the actual meaning.  That’s when the majority of the American people protested against these new laws during the government shut down again in October of 2020. Which was nothing more than a hoax for them to reopen as a one world government.  Well, unfortunately protesting wasn't allowed anymore; ever since the whole occupy Wall Street protest took place back in 2011.  So they ended up dead, battered or arrested by law enforcement and National Guardsmen.

Nothing made sense  anymore.  Getting the truth out of a politician was like trying to open a can with a butter knife.  The same thing went for the corporate media, because of them the American people turned against each other with debates.  Keeping us distracted from what was really going on.
During this time Anna and I lived in a three bedroom apartment on the third floor in Hagerstown, Maryland.  We’ve always wanted a home for ourselves, but our income was too low. I worked at a warehouse that ended up shutting down and moved to India. So my wife had to get a job making only ten dollars an hour as a supervisor at a retail store.  Because of the downfall in the economy, getting a job was like hitting the lottery. Your chances were slim.  I wasn’t the only one going through this struggle; mostly everyone in this country were in the same position.  Right before our financial
struggle,  Anna and I invested in camping gear  just in case we couldn’t make the next rent payment.  At times I would think about selling the gear just to pay on some of the bills. Luckily Anna talked me out of it. Looking back at it now,  I'm happy that she did.

                                                  Seven years earlier

On December 19th 2021, is when it all really began. It felt  like a dream you couldn't wake up from.  During that time of noon, Anna and I were at home.  It seemed to be just your ordinary day.  While she was getting ready for work,  I was watching Isabel.  Suddenly, my oldest son Jake comes home earlier than expected from school.  Anna and I were unaware of it because the school has not called to inform us that they have let the kids out early.  Which I thought was fairly strange.
“Jake? What are you doing home so early?”
“I don't know, they let us out early.  Didn't they call to let you know?”
“Uh Okay, where is Tod?  Why isn't he with you?”   Anna then walks in the room, “What are you doing home?”
“He said they let them out early.”
“Jake! --- this is not a joke, where is your brother?” I said Impatiently.
“Why isn’t Tod with you?” Said Anna.
“I went to but, but the doors were locked and I couldn’t get inside.....it looked like the school was closed,” he stuttered.
“Son of a bitch!” I quickly grabbed my coat and ran straight to the car.
“I'll call the school!” Said Anna.
“Alright, tell them I'm on my way their!” I shouted from a distance.
Anna impatiently calls the school, while Jake went out to talk to some neighbors; hoping to find Tod's whereabouts.
While driving to the school, I noticed that no one was outside.  It was quiet, too quiet.  People were peeking out from the windows of their homes as I drove by.  I knew something strange was going on.  It felt like I entered the Twilight Zone, where everyone knew something that I didn't.

When I got to the school (which was only a half mile from where I lived) I ran to the double doors and tried to open them.  Like Jake said the doors were locked.  So I hit the intercom buzzer over and over again that was placed right next to the outer door, finally a man speaks through the intercom, “yes--can I help you?” I pushed the intercom button, “yes, hi, I'm here to pick up my son, Tod Welding.  He never came home from school, and I never received a call about the early dismissal.”
The intercom froze for a few seconds and then someone else, a woman, spoke through the intercom, “Hi---Mr. Welding I presume?”
I quickly push the intercom button, “Yes! This is MR. Welding, can I please come in and sign my son out of school, thank you.” I said worrisome, unaware of what was going on.

“Sorry Mr. Welding, but I'm afraid we can't do that. Social service’s came here with FEMA buses and took your son....he has been transferred to a safe camp along with other elementary children from our school.  Due to the seriousness of the high terror alert we are under,” said the woman on the intercom.

“What! Who is this?  I didn’t give you permission to do That!”  I said outraged.

That grievous voice spoke again through the intercom,
“Sir ! Please calm down your son is being cared for and protected through Homeland Security and FEMA.”

“I think I am capable of taking care of my own son! Where is this so called FEMA camp? I want to know right now!”

The intercom paused for a second and then another voice appeared on the intercom.
This time it was a man,   “Sir I am going to have to advise you to get off school grounds immediately, and for you to return to your home.”

“Oh and who is this?  Who are you to tell me that I should go home?”

“My name is Officer Dan McKinley of the TSA, working with the Department of Homeland Security.  NOW please leave the grounds or you will be arrested!”  He said in a merciless tone.

“Arrested!?  Is this a joke?”  I said befuddled.

Two cars had pulled up behind me, with big black letters written on the side doors that read UN police.  The two men got out of their cars with grins on their faces. Placing their hands on their gun, ready to pull them out of their holsters.  I peeked at the officer’s, noticing they were both  foreigners ready to kill without care. Suddenly the man named Officer Dan McKinley spoke again on the intercom with a creepy angered voice, “this is your last chance. Leeeave nooow!” I didn’t bother to say anything back on the intercom. I knew it was senseless.

As I approached my car, I look at the two foreign officers, “God bless America huh?”

They didn't say anything back. I assumed the English language was not in their expertise. Instead they just glared at me with a vile look on their faces, until I left the school. While sitting in my car, questioning myself, how many parents had gone to the school to get their kids, and why was there foreign UN officers?

When I got back home, I parked the car at the apartment complex and just sat inside my SUV; thinking how I was going to explain this to Anna and what were the next steps we should take. I paused, trying to figure out what was going on. I had no explanation to why the school didn't inform us of the situation and why we heard nothing about this on the news. At that moment, my mind was unfocused. Suddenly there was a knock on my car window, causing me to jump like a war veteran having a flashback. It was my neighbor Eddy.  Eddy was a mid aged tall fellow with a blond crew cut. His face was like a shape of an olive.

Eddy puts his right hand on my shoulder and asked if I was okay, I told him what happened.
“It's okay man, take it easy. The government has it under control.  They’ll take care of your son and I'm sure they'll keep him safe.”   His notion was pitiful. But I swallowed it with pride and remained calm.

Eddy used to be a national guardsmen and his wife works for the government as a secretary in one of the representative's office. I said no more to Eddy, I got out of my car and walked upstairs. As I proceeded to walk towards my apartment. Eddy gives a suspicious look towards me.
“Take it easy man,” he said.
         “Yeah...see yuh Eddy.”

Soon as I got inside my apartment I explained to Anna everything that had happened.
“What are we going to do John?” She cried.
    “I don’t know.” I continued,
“but I do know I'm not going to stand here and let them take our son. Why dont you call your brother Chad and find out where  they may have taken him too.”

Chad was Anna’s younger brother who happened to be a sergeant for the US army.
“That's a good idea!” Anna quickly calls Chad but there was no answer. So we waited, hoping he would call back soon. Later on, I sat down on the couch trying to think of what to do next. So I thought maybe if I turned on the TV, the news would give some clue of what's happening.  I was thinking maybe another terrorists attack happened, that may have been worse than 9/11. But the news channels said nothing, except that we were under a high terror alert.  They didn’t say anything about the schools closing down, and nothing about taking our kids away.

It almost seemed like the world went off balance and everyone started to panic .  The Feds and Homeland Security were beating down and shooting at all these civilians who were protesting.  One reporter showed a US Militia on the TV kicking and screaming while officers were beaten him down. The reporter did nothing but laugh at the situation when the militia started ranting.

“WE WARNED YOU!  WE TOLD YOU!  And you IGNORED US!  Now rise up and take back your COUNTRY! 1776! 1776!”   The one man shouted on the TV, while the officers dragged him into one of the police car.

The media also didn’t mention anything about the school being overrun by UN officers.  Something didn’t seem right and I knew something was definitely going on.
I turned the TV off.  I just couldn’t take any more of the stress. It was getting late and Chad still didn't get in contact with us. Anna and I laid on our bed quietly, waiting, hoping there would be a call from her brother. During the wait, I decided to call my mother., but the phone kept ringing and no one would pick up the phone. So instead I tried  to call my sister and she did not answer the phone as well.   I felt that Anna and I were alone.  Fearing, what tomorrow may bring.
